ABOUT CCC

Entering its thirty-first season, Connecticut Chamber Choir continues to uphold its well-deserved reputation as one of Connecticut’s leading vocal ensembles. Critics have acclaimed CCC for its “beauty of choral tone…” , “precise musicianship…” , and for its “sensitive and moving interpretations.”

A choral ensemble of dedicated avocational singers from throughout the state, CCC’s programs provide opportunity for performer and audience alike to experience fine choral works presented through inspired performances. Reverberating with unique sensitivity and depth, each selection draws the listener into a fresh kinship with composer and singer.

Connecticut Chamber’s Choir’s repertoire includes major works by such immortal composers as Bach, Handel, Mozart and Brahms, as well as music by more “modern” composers such as Dello Joio, Pinkham, Lauridsen, Gorecki and Ives.

As CCC begins yet another concert season, its conductor, singers and accompanist remain dedicated to its mission of providing exciting musical moments for our audiences.

CCC members meet on Tuesday evenings in Trumbull, Connecticut, for concert practice sessions throughout the fall, winter and spring months. We are a select and friendly choir and have a lot of fun but we take our music seriously. We often get together for various gatherings and activities other than singing making CCC membership a very social activity.

If you are an experienced singer and you are interested in becoming one of us, please email the CCC artistic director at director@connecticutchamberchoir.com for further information.
